After delivering a speech in El Paso, Texas in 1939, John Edgar Hoover and his Assistant Director and lifelong personal companion Clyde Tolson make a trip across the border to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to pay a visit to the madame of a brothel who was also an FBI informant.

Speculative fiction based on the late FBI Director's only known trip outside the United States, this noir  border thriller is an homage to Orson Welles' "Touch of Evil." Along the way, it examines the convolutions of privilege, sexuality, and power projected onto a broader political landscape.
